John W. Schaeffer
Managing Director
John heads the Oil & Gas Financing business within GE Energy Financial Services. He has over twenty-five years of experience in upstream oil and gas industry finance and engineering. Prior to joining GE, John worked in Chemical Bank’s energy group in New York. His early career was spent with Conoco, Inc. as a senior staff engineer in mergers & acquisitions and enhanced recovery. John holds a B.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Michael W. DePriest
Managing Director
Mike
is responsible for marketing, originating and structuring
oil and gas transactions out of the Houston office. Mike was
previously with E&P companies and financial institutions.
Prior to joining GE, Mike was employed by Chemical Bank in
New York and with Texas Commerce Bank in Houston. He was also
a production / reservoir engineer with Mobil and Grace Petroleum.
Mike holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University
of Oklahoma. |

Paul J. Nidoh
Senior Vice President
Paul is responsible for marketing, originating and structuring
oil & gas transactions out of the Houston office. Prior
to joining GE, he was Vice President in the oil & gas
portfolio for Chase Manhattan Bank. Paul began his career
as a petroleum engineer for BP Amoco. Paul holds a B.S. in
Petroleum Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and
an MBA from the University of Houston. |

Jason Rebrook
Senior Vice President
Jason is responsible for the daily management of the oil and gas partnerships within the portfolio group. Prior to joining GE, he was the Business Planning Manager for Chevron Nigeria. During his ten years at Chevron, he also worked as a Production Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Project Manager, and Deepwater Operations Supervisor. Jason holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College and an MBA from Duke University. |

David P. Hazelton
Vice President
David’s responsibilities are focused on management of the portfolio of oil and gas partnerships. Additionally, David oversees all commodity hedge activity for group. Prior to this assignment, he served as a member of the oil and gas underwriting team for more than 3 years. Before joining GE, David worked for Bank of America in St. Louis and PNC Bank in Chicago. He has a B.S. in Business from Miami University and an M.B.A. from Washington University. |

Eric M. Fresh
Associate
As a member of the Oil and Gas Portfolio Group, Eric focuses
on both managing and monetizing Energy Financial Services’
(EFS) oil and natural gas investments. Prior to joining EFS,
he worked for Morgan Stanley in Washington, D.C., where he
advised middle-market companies in short-term cash management
strategies and tax-advantaged corporate divestitures. Eric
holds a B.A. from Clark Atlanta University and an M.B.A. from
the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. |

Colin Nisbeth
Managing Director
Colin originates oil and gas financings from the Denver office. He joined GE in 2007 after working in the upstream industry as an engineer and financial provider for various companies including Shell, EnCap, several banks and most recently, his own oil and gas company. Colin graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Chemical Engineering and holds a MBA from the University of Houston. |

Raymond G. Edgar. Jr.
Managing Director
Ray heads the Oil & Gas Underwriting team. He previously led the Oil & Gas Portfolio team and has held various portfolio positions within GE in the Energy and Transportation and Industrial sectors in both domestic and international operations. Prior to joining GE, Ray served as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. Ray holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy and an MBA from Columbia University. |

Carl Peterson
Managing Director
Carl leads the Oil & Gas Portfolio management team. Since joining GE in 1996, Carl has held positions in Energy portfolio management, Oil & Gas underwriting, Commercial & Industrial bankruptcy and turnarounds, and Distressed Debt originations. Prior to joining GE, he served as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy. Carl holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval Academy, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytech. |

P. Richard "Dick" Gessinger
Senior Vice President
Dick originates partnership investments with independent oil
and gas producers to acquire or monetize proven reserves.
He has more than 30 years experience as an energy finance
professional. His experience as a commercial banker, investment
banker, and exploration and production company executive including
recently serving as chief financial officer of a NYSE-listed
Gulf Coast energy exploration company gives him a rare blend
of qualifications as a financial originator. He holds an MBA
in Corporate Finance and a BA degree in Political Science,
both from Emory University. |

Vice President
Michele's primary responsibilities include structuring, underwriting,
and pricing transactions as well as supporting the overall
deal process. Prior to her current role, Michele has worked
in the Energy Financial Services portfolio team and has held
various global positions at General Electric as a member of
the Corporate Audit Staff. Michele holds a B.S. in Chemical
Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. |

Ben Brown
Associate
Ben focuses on structuring, underwriting, and pricing oil
& gas partnership investments. Ben has five years of oilfield
experience as a surface facilities engineer at ExxonMobil.
He has also worked as a management consultant with McKinsey
& Company. Ben holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Brigham
Young University and a M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School
of Management at Cornell University. |

focused on underwriting, structuring and pricing transactions

Audit Staff. Zahabia holds a B.A. in Economics from Denison
